Country Music 1/2 Marathon

Starting Line: We began in coral #22! There were 32 total.

This was the 4th year for my father and I to do the 1/2 together!

Today some of my family and I continued the tradition of the Music City 1/2 Marathon! We love doing it but often ask ourselves why the day after. I believe there were about 29,000 runners/ walkers this year. Pretty much there were people EVERYWHERE. It tends to be very interesting what you will see out there (girls & boys peeing in the woods, crazy outfits, old people, heavy people, etc.) There are bands playing the entire course and people set up outside their house up and down all the streets. Near DLU and Belmont is my favorite section. People in the neighborhoods come out and pass fruit, pretzels, drinks (some liquor if you want), offer their restrooms, etc.

Our team this year included Johnny (my father), Becky (my mother-in-law), Cory (my sister-in- law), and Wendy (my other brother's girlfriend). I wanted to post some pictures for then to see but also for those of you interested in reading about us!!!

Let me also mention that while us picutred are running, our better halves go to Pancake Pantry for breakfast. They have done it every year and love that we participate for that reason!!!

5 1/2 Months Old!

Will the spit up ever stop?

I think we do a load of bibs in the washer everyday..... At his 6 month check up I spoke to the dr. about his continuous spit up of breastmilk, babyfood, (whatever he eats). She just shook her head and said that if he is still doing it now that he probably will until he is one year old.....boooo
Do any of you have this issue?

Long overdue but I thought I should post some pictures of Preston's first trip to the beach. I think he would have loved it more if we had sunny weather. I only put on my swimsuit once. :( Maybe next time.
Our big boy is 6 months old and had his big dr. visit. He weighed in at 17lbs. 13 oz. He has grow 2 1/4 inches since the last visit. The nurse measured him twice just to be sure.

We are having fun except for the last two days he seems to be in a little pain with his FIRST tooth coming in.......

Our unit sleeps 4-6 people. It has one king, bunk beds, and a queen sofa sleeper. Some of my favorite about it include a lagoon pool featuring "dive-in" movies, two beachfront pools with a tiki hut, roof top pool (on top of the parking garage), lazy river, spa and fitness center, the largest sky bridge in Florida, and valet service. We are on the 18th floor beach front.

It's official Dr. Jennifer Phillips is now a Monserrat! The wedding was beautiful. It seemed like Jennifer had a wonderful time at her wedding. I know we did. All of us girls just danced and danced. Becca led the train for the song "Come on Ride that Train." Jen's dad can cut the rug too! But, the best dancer award goes to the life of the party Tate Messner. Kent and Becca's son danced like a mad man all night long. He was even requesting songs! He even knew a few brake dance moves. I wish I had a picture to show. I do have a picture of Asa (Amy's son:) Isn't his hat adorable!
