Play Group

Preston and Ari

Jack, Lauryn, Ari, Preston, and Brooke

All the kids played so well together. The moms just want to hangout and chat. We are hoping they will learn how to share. Preston just likes to pull hair for some reason....

Cute picture! (15 Months old:)

Still a blanket stuffer. He will keep it in his mouth all night long. We trying to pull it out but he starts grabbing it and chewing. I guess it comforts him. I try the think of it as a tooth brush since he won't let me brush his teeth.

Kindermusik Recital

As you can tell Preston was on the move that day!

This was about as still as he was...

Aunt Toni, Nonna, and Preston

Preston walking around in the middle of the circle of moms. He rarely sits in my lap like all the other boys and girls.

I was trying to get some interaction. He hardly paid me any attention. He wanted Brooke to hold him more than me. He loves Mrs. Brooke.

We had fun watching Preston wonder around at his first Kindermusik recital. He spends most of his time in the weekly classes sitting with other moms and their kid, walking around clapping, or getting into something he shouldn't. He is a mess. I will say that the first class of this new semester I actually sang and danced more with him than any of the other classes last semester. I think he might be learning. Either way we have a great time going to class interacting with the other kids and eating at Chick-fil-a. By that time he is ready for a good nap.

Mice.............:0

2 years ago.......
2 days ago........(look carefully at the hole in Preston's sippy cup that was found in my car)

Some of you may remember a few years ago when I found a mouse in my car. I opened my car door leaving for school and there sat a mouse on my steering wheel. I know it is hard to believe but it stayed there long enough for me to take a picture for proof. That night I sat a trap under my car and caught the mouse. Somehow it was crawling through my engine and getting into my car. Freaky I know. I left a trap there for the longest time just in case but we never caught another one that year.

Well the family has moved back into my car. I knowingly let Preston's sippy cup in my car over night and the next day I found it with a hole in the top. There were blue pieces of plastic everywhere. Gross....... I could hardly get back into my car ( I wasn't at home). I went straight to vacuum the car out then to buy mouse traps. Let me just say my car isn't filthy. Maybe a few crumbs but nothing terrible.

I set a trap in my car for the remainder of that day and overnight. I also put one under the engine again. The next morning we had a dead mouse. I thought yea:) it's over....no no no......Just in case i left a trap under the car and today I found another dead mouse....... I mean has the whole family moved in??????? I guess we shall see if we can catch another tomorrow! Just beware.........

My Cousin's Wedding

Jason and Kristen at the reception.

Jason, Josh C., & my brothers John and Josh

This is the closest we can come to a decent picture these days.

Me, Cory, and Wendy
Preston was SO tired at the reception.

Dad, Me, John, & Josh

Preston danced the night away with his grandfathers. If he wasn't out there with my dad the Big Brent had him out there.

We had a blast at this wedding. First of all my family is crazy which makes the night very interesting. Preston made it for about 45 seconds into the wedding. He loved walking around at the reception and being on the dance floor even if he was out there all alone. He has a little bounce he does when we ask him to dance!

At the reception they roasted an entire pig. It was really good food. I had a blast hanging out with my family and watching them all let loose on the dance floor. I don't think I sat down for hours. My brother John video recorded some of it so it may come back to haunt us.......

Christmas 2007

Reading books in front of the fire! Cozy:)

Preston is now decked out in Elmo as you can see!

Giving Uncle John a kiss.

I love this picture!

Pa Paw does whatever Preston wants:)

Preston was fasinated with the leaves. I think he sat there for about 10 minutes. It was so pretty outside on Christmas day.

Every time Preston saw Uncle Josh he thought he had to eat. It was so cute.

So excited about his Elmo chair........ (he really does love it)

Playing his xylophone from Uncle Josh and Wendy...

We took our picture outside since it was so pretty.

For some reason we cannot get Preston to look at the camera and smile...EVER.

Our little Family!!!

Reading Christmas stories with Gran.

He finally got it open.

Working on opening his first present. Each piece of paper had to be off.

His new toy box. (much needed in our house)

One of Prestons favorite gifts was his broom. For some reason he is just fasinated with brooms. He makes me sweep every time we are in the garage.

Eating with Uncle John and Aunt Cory.

Eating with Uncle Josh. Preston has gotten to the point where he will eat anything you put in front of him!

My mom, grandmother, and aunts.

Josh and Me!

Maw Maw and Paw Paw loved their gift cards to their favorite restaurants!

We have had another wonderful Christmas. We have spent lots of time with family, played lots of games, and made many more memories. It will take all year for Preston to play with all his new toys.
