It was sad around here last week:( Preston went for a dr. visit on Monday because he had a small fever and said, "my tongue hurts." The dr. said he had a really sore throat and called it a virus. The next morning he woke up with his right eye swollen and face red. We gave him benedryl. The next two days he woke up with bumps all over his nose and mouth. I continued with the benedryl to clear up the bumps, but they got worse. His face was really dry. Come to find out his face was dry from taking the benedryl. Who knew it would dry him out that bad. Anyhow, the sore throat turned into a runny nose, then cough. Meanwhile, I began to get a sore throat too. I felt terrible all weekend. Finally, on Monday I tested positive for strep throat:( Preston woke up with a temp that morning so I took him back to the dr. too. He had PNEMONIA. What in the world????? Basically he had mucus in his lungs. Poor thing. We got tons of medicine and feel TONS better now.

We took a very short trip to the beach this past weekend. It was cold and I am pretty sure P and I wore the same clothes most of the trip! Preston LOVED the beach. He ran from one end to the other. He didn't care how much sand he had all over him unlike last time we were there. We actually saw one man take a swim in the cold water. Crazy! As always the seafood was wonderful!
Preston in his red water tub! Everything is RED these days. It's his favorite color:- Mine too! Gran got him some of those color tablets for the water from Walmart. He loves changing the water's color. They also make crayons for the bath. There was a stretch where P didn't love taking a bath, so we tried tomake it fun!
