Moving on up!

Preston has finally moved on into a big boy bed (or a mattress on the floor for now!) Josh bought his furniture last weekend and it should come in at the end of Sept. Until then he is pretty comfy on his queen mattress! He loves it, but won't get out of the bed unless we come to get him. I guess that is a good thing!

Playing with our neighbors! They love riding in the truck.

This is how our couch looks 24-7. P always want to hide daddy, himself, or some toys!

Check out that bed head! His double crown makes for wild hair everyday. He says, "fix it mommy."

Lake Trip with Family

Mack taught Preston how to do flips on an air mattress. P wasn't very good at it but he thought he was!

Eating chips at 10pm.....

P had to have his shirt off like his "cousins."

Preston's minor surgery

Preston had a minor procedure done in July. Of course it was major to us! He had what is called a skin bridge and it took literally 5 minutes to cut but him being put under was the WORST. This picture was after forcing the little blue pj's onto his body. He really wanted to read Go Dogs Go! He wanted nothing to do with anyone until he got his special juice. Then he was drunk:(

He woke up way to soon after the surgery. They said it was because of the special juice that we requested. I know he would have never worn the gas mask if he had not had the juice. When he woke up he was an absolute mess...kicking, screaming, and bucking for an hour. There was nothing we could do to calm him down or get him to drink some apple juice. The dr. finally agreed to take his iv out and let us get a holding room. He had 2 doses of pain meds to calm him and the dr. was called 3 times. There were about 4 nurses in there trying to help. I just cried not knowing what in the world to do to calm my son down. They did assure us that it's normal for 2 year old boys to act this way after waking to soon. The medicine had no time to wear off. Whooo...Glad that's over.
